Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser Review: What you get?

  • Size – This water machine can hold up to 1.8 litres of water for 7 to 9 cups (200ml – 250ml) of your favourite drinks. It’s super helpful for prominent families or offices.
  • How Big Is It? – The machine is about 17.5cm wide, 28.6cm tall and 29.6cm deep.
  • Clean Water – Just like we talked about before, this dispenser makes your water taste good by using something called BRITA Filtration.
  • Boils Quickly – It heats the water quickly because it has a powerful 3kW heating. You can get one cup of hot water in less than 50 seconds.
  • Easy to Fill – The part where you put the water has a big entrance, so you can quickly pour water into it.
  • Different Cup Sizes – You can choose how much water you want for your cup because it has nine different sizes. So, it works for small cups and big mugs.
  • Stop Button – Press a beautiful dial button to stop the water from coming out.
  • Pretty Blue Light – When the water gets hot, the machine glows blue and looks nice.
  • Hot Water Alert – A light will let you know when the water inside is super hot.
  • Tray to Catch Drops – Under the machine, there’s a tray that can catch any drops of water. You can take it out and empty it when it gets full.
  • Hidden Heater – The thing that makes the water hot is hidden inside, so it doesn’t get all dirty with stuff. That way, it can last longer and keep working well even in challenging water areas in the UK.

Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser: What’s good about it?

The Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser VKJ367 is an excellent product, so quick and easy to use. We liked this economical product because it only boils the water you need, instead of wasting electricity. It is a brilliant product to boil one or two cups of water.

This Hot Water Dispenser is fantastic for those with no mobility issues, and a standard kettle is not a choice. You only need to place a cup/mug with a coffee bag/teabag on the drip tray. It is a boon for the lazy; it saves having to measure water from the kettle and pour it into the cup. Just pick it up when convenient for you.

It does not require your presence; hot water is ready for your favourite drink in the morning before work and then return home. It’s ideal for most people alone or couples to make a quick cuppa.

Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser: What could be better?

We loved the idea of Breville of this hot water dispenser. However, we found in our tests that it only dispensed hot water, not boiling. This machine may only be ideal for instant coffee, but not suitable for brewing tea.

The Breville VKJ367 lid opens just half, allowing water to spill out, which we found awkward. The long wait for clean water was most painful for us; the filter was slow in extracting water. The BRITA filter holds only about 500ml of water at a time, and you have to wait to add more, so the 1.8-litre capacity is just nonsense.

We tested on the Breville HotCup Dispenser for a few weeks; it is fine but needs improvement.

Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser: Is it good to buy?

We are happy with the Breville VKJ367 hot water dispenser. It’s simple to operate by pressing one button, and it starts working. We could not expect more at this price. But this may be unpleasant for some people as they expect a better product at this price.

Overall, The Hot Cup is a fantastic product; it makes a hot, quick cup of water for various drinks, boiling noodles, etc.
