Our Verdict

Not everyone likes fancy kettles. Some people want a simple one that quietly sits on the counter and boils water when needed. The Morphy Richards Verve 103012 kettle is just that – it works well without any fuss. It’s not so loud, it’s good at its job, and it doesn’t cost too much.

Why do you say YES?

  • Easy to fill and quick to boil, not noisy
  • 3 Colour option – white, black and cream
  • Matching coffee machine and toaster available

Why do you say NO?

  • Water level info hidden by the handle.

Morphy Richards Verve Kettle Review: What you get?

  • Capacity – The kettle can hold 1.7 litres of water, which is enough for about 7 cups of tea or coffee. It’s excellent for prominent families or when lots of people need a hot drink.
  • Dimensions – The kettle’s size is about 23.2cm long, 22.8cm wide, and 17.4cm tall. It’s like a rectangular box.
  • Rapid Boil – The kettle can quickly make hot water because it uses 3,000 watts of electricity. It is super helpful when you’re in a hurry and need hot water for your morning tea or coffee.
  • Easy Lift-Off Lid – The lid of the kettle is easy to take off. It’s unlike other kettles with lids that can break because it doesn’t have a hinge. Instead, it has a ring to help you lift it off.
  • 360 Degree Base – The kettle doesn’t have a cord attached, so it sits on a base. The cool thing is that you can put the kettle on the base in any direction because the base can turn all the way around. It makes it easy to use for both left-handed and right-handed people.
  • Integrated Cord Storage – Under the base, there’s a place to keep any extra electric cord. It helps to keep things tidy and safe.
  • Boil Dry Protection – The kettle is brilliant and won’t let itself keep heating if there’s no water inside. It is to keep it from getting damaged and to keep you safe.

Morphy Richards Verve Kettle: What’s good about it?

While testing the Morphy Richards Verve Kettle, we felt as if we were reviewing a kettle in which there was little to experiment with. But whatever we found in its test makes it the best electric kettle for your use.

Its 3kW rapid boil element heats up faster than other expensive kettles we tested. Due to its shape, we never had to struggle with refilling and handling.

We love how its stunning, innovative blue-light water window combines elegant beauty with its functionality. It will allow you to see on the darkest of British winter mornings how whole your kettle is.

From a mug of hot water to a delicate Earl Gray – Morphy Richards 103012 is a kettle for every cup.

Morphy Richards Verve Kettle: What could be better?

We tested this Verve kettle every day for a week but did not find any fault in its functionality. But there were some points which we did not like. This Morphy Richards kettle is wholly made of plastic except for the heating element plate because stainless steel electric kettle is available in the market at almost the same price.

Although we found this kettle to be reasonably practical, the downside that many users feel is that it is impossible to judge the water level when filling water under the tap because the window display is hidden behind the handle.

Morphy Richards Verve Kettle: Is it good to buy?

Overall, this kettle is perfect. The Verve Kettle looks lovely with its classic ceramic design, but it also has some excellent modern features. The shape and how fast it boils water are like new things. We give this kettle 4.5 stars out of 5, and it’s great for both modern and old-style kitchens.
