5 Best Philips Electric Kettles in The UK of 2026

The Philips HD9318/21 Series 3000 Electric Kettle won us over after we spent some time with it through the sleek look and quick performance it presented to us. With the BPA-free plastic case looking so shiny, it gave the impression of a perfect kitchen match. Furthermore, it was quite easy to carry, because of the comfortable grip, even when full. The competitiveness of 2200W made us surprised by the speed at which it boiled. Using it was very convenient which is why we counted 4 minutes or less, if needed, ideal for those who are always late.

Moreover, we got a sense of assurance thanks to the safety features in it, such as automatic turn-off and boil-dry protection system, which made us feel that it was safe for use. The spout was well designed and therefore it was the reason for the neat &drip-free pouring, but the extremely hot exterior of the kettle caught our eye.

It was very easy to clean the broad lid and removable filter so it was not a problem at all.

It’s a user-friendly, reliable kettle which would be a great choice for every family that wants to use it every day.

Personally! We had a chance to test the Philips Eco-Conscious Edition Kettle 5000 Series (HD9365/11). We were impressed, by its designer for thoughtfully combining the best of the stylish, functional, and ecological aspects. The machine has an elegant silk-white matte finish with wood-style decorative elements, which give it a fresh and modern look. It can easily fit in almost any kitchen.

The use of 100% bio-based plastics, in this eco-friendly design, was quite stable and predictable. This 3kW kitchen appliance boiled rather effectively—approximately 5 minutes* for a filled 1.7L kettle and almost 2 minutes* for smaller quantities. Besides, this Philips electric kettle also keeps the noise level to a minimum, a big plus point for early mornings.

Plus, safety measures like automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection made the product foolproof during use. In addition to that, the BPA-free plastic model remains cooler compared to the stainless-steel electric kettles, thereby slashing the risk of burns.

The large lid that can be removed easily and the interior that is easily accessible makes cleaning easy. Nevertheless, the lid that can be detached needs two hands to fill it so it may be inconvenient sometimes.
