Morphy Richards Redefine Hot Water Dispenser: What’s good about it?

It is the third of this type of machine we have tested and by far the best. We loved the ability to select temperature and volume control separately and the 3ltr capacity of the Morphy Richards Redefine Dispenser.

The machine itself is fast and fills a cup quickly without splashing. The best part we liked in this Hot Water Dispenser is the versatility of the product. You can set the dispense amount between 150 ml to 1.5 L, which boils only how much we need. But remember, if you want more, you must dispense manually.

During the test, we had complete control to choose the perfect temperature for our tea, coffee and noodles. We also liked the auto dispense feature; it automatically poured when the water got boiled. You can automatically pour a maximum of 600 ml.

This machine gives us some cool features. It can show you when to change the filter and when the tray needs to be emptied to stop spills. It can also tell you on the screen when it’s time to clean it. These reminders help you use the machine quickly and keep it clean.

This machine is excellent for disabled people and reduces the risk of scalding during use. It’s easy to operate, and you can fill two large cups simultaneously. We recommend this machine.

Morphy Richards Redefine Hot Water Dispenser: What could be better?

The most common negative we noticed during testing was that the water tasted strange initially. However, this is not a defect, as all new dispensers have this problem.

The main criticism of this unit is its 2-cup dispensing nozzle. Most of the time, we found that the right-side nozzle consistently dispenses slightly more water than the left while dispensing. So, while filling a mug or two, set the appropriate quantity.

Its Drip Tray cannot adjust the height up and down, which is unpleasant. Water splashes out when using a shallow cup due to the dispense nozzle being too high.

Our last complaint was about its capacity, as it took about 2.5 litres at a go and filtered down slowly. For 3 litres, you have to refill, but the machine automatically switches off after the last 1/2ltr or so.

Morphy Richards Redefine Hot Water Dispenser: Is it good to buy?

We like the Morphy Richards 131004 lot, and it’s one of the best instant hot water dispensers. It’s good in how it looks, works, and how much hot water it can give you when you want it.

We recommend the Redefine to those looking for a hot water dispenser. It is expensive, but it is guaranteed not to pinch once you use it.
